Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and PE Kolesnyk Roman (Roman Kolesnyk), private entrepreneur (FOP), Mykolaivka, Sumy Oblast, Ukraine (“we”, “us”), the developer and seller of MediaJar. By installing MediaJar or buying a Pro license you accept them. Contact: support@mediajar.app.
1. The software
MediaJar (“the Software”) is a browser extension for Chromium-based browsers that finds video, audio, subtitles and images loaded by web pages and saves them to your computer. It is available in a free version and with paid Pro features.
2. Grant of end-user license (supply of a software copy)
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited end-user license to install and use the executable copy of the MediaJar browser extension strictly for its intended functional purpose. When you buy Pro you purchase a license key that gives access to the Pro features of your copy of the Software. No ownership, source-code rights, copyright or other intellectual-property rights are transferred or assigned to you under this agreement. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, publish or share your license key, or copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the Software, except as allowed by mandatory law.
3. Free version, trial and Pro plans
- Free version. Free to use without time limit, with the features described on the pricing page.
- Trial. A one-time free trial of Pro with a limited number of Pro actions. No payment details are required.
- 1 Month Pass. A one-time payment for 30 days of Pro from the date of purchase. It does not renew automatically.
- Annual Pro. A subscription billed once a year. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the link in your receipt email or by writing to us; Pro then stays active until the end of the paid period and no further payments are taken.
- Lifetime Pro. A one-time payment that gives continuous access to the Pro features of the Software and all minor and major updates released during the entire commercial lifespan of the MediaJar product (“Product Lifetime”). It refers to the lifetime of the Software, not the lifetime of the buyer.
Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Early-adopter or other promotional prices may be limited in number or time.
4. License keys
Your license key is personal. You may use it on your own computers and browser profiles. We may deactivate a key that has been refunded or charged back, published, shared or used in breach of these terms. License keys are checked on your computer; the extension also downloads a list of deactivated keys once a day.
5. Order process and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
6. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase. See the Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use and copyright
MediaJar is a technical browser utility designed for inspecting and archiving publicly accessible web assets and media streams that you already have lawful permission to view in your browser. MediaJar does not download videos from YouTube, in compliance with Chrome Web Store policies. MediaJar does not bypass, decrypt or circumvent any Digital Rights Management (DRM), paywalls or technical protection measures (such as Widevine or PlayReady). You are solely responsible for making sure that you have the legal right or the permission of the copyright holder before saving any content, and for following the terms of the websites you use.
8. Updates and availability
We update MediaJar to keep it working as websites change, but websites can change at any time and we cannot guarantee that the Software works with any particular website. Browser or store rules may require us to change or remove features. If we ever decide to discontinue MediaJar, we will announce it in the extension and on this website at least 90 days in advance.
9. Privacy
MediaJar does not collect your browsing history or the content you save. See the Privacy Policy.
10. No warranty
Except where the law does not allow it, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for MediaJar in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using MediaJar at any time by removing it. We may end your license if you seriously breach these terms; in that case the Pro features stop working.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page before they apply; continuing to use MediaJar after that means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
